“If I see an opportunity, I go for it and if it’s something that I want, I go for it with gusto. I might not get it, but I give it my best shot. And what is really kind of cool is Russell [T. Davies] has interpreted all of the things that I spoke about in the first meeting, and he’s vocalized it to all the other writers, and they put it actually into Captain Jack. So that’s where the beauty of them putting the personality of John Barrowman into Captain Jack came out. And it’s great. It’s me being a big kid and having a lot of fun.”
